The transportation of a work of art, a painting, a sculpture, etc. is possible in the Economy cabin by purchasing an extra seat. A fee is charged for this service and formal authorization is required before the trip. You must provide the dimensions* and weight of the artwork, which must not go over 46kg per extra seat. Objects that exceed this maximum weight must be transported by freight. You can benefit from the baggage allowance (maximum number and weight of baggage allowed) that corresponds to the fare of each seat you have purchased. Yes. The purchase of an extra seat for personal comfort allows you to benefit from an additional baggage allowance.
A group (2 or more people) can transport at no charge the total number of their combined individual baggage allowances. To do this, the members of the group must check in at the same time and travel together. They must also make sure that each baggage item weighs less than 23kg / 50lb or 32kg / 70lb, depending on their travel class.
You can carry flowers on board. To prevent any damage, please take them into the cabin. Some countries forbid the import of plants. We recommend you to check customs rules of your country of destination.
Yes, hair straightening or curling irons are permitted in the cabin and in the hold, even if they contain hydrocarbon gas. The safety cover must be securely fixed to the heating element. Please note: It is forbidden to use the iron or transport gas refill cartridges on board the aircraft. 1 item maximum per person.
Due to their lithium batteries, drones must comply to specific regulations. If the battery power is:
- Over 160 Wh, the drone and its replacement battery are prohibited in the cabin or in the hold.
- Below or equal to 160 Wh, the drone may be transported in the cabin or in the hold, provided it is completely switched off. The replacement battery is permitted in the cabin. However, it may not be transported in the hold.
Yes, you can transport a funerary urn in the cabin or in the hold. In the cabin: Cabin baggage must not exceed 55 cm x 35 cm x 25 cm / 21 in x 13 in x 9 in. In the cabin and in the hold: - The urn must be sealed and packed in a container that does not allow other passengers to identify it as such. - You must be in possession of a certificate from the crematorium, in order to avoid having the urn opened by security services. No authorization is required to transport an urn within metropolitan France or to and from France's overseas territories. However, you are required to have transport authorization issued by the local prefecture where the cremation was performed if you plan to travel outside of France or France's overseas territories. For international travel, you are required to have transport authorization issued by local authorities or the French consulate.
If any of your baggage exceeds 158 cm (height + length + width), you will be charged an additional fee, regardless of the cabin in which you are traveling. The transport of alcohol is subject to new safety regulations regarding liquids. You should use a transparent plastic bag with a maximum capacity of 1 liter to carry all alcohol containers. No individual container should have a capacity of over 100 ml. Please read the special rules for duty-free items purchased on board or at the airport in the "transporting liquids section".

At Paris-Charles de Gaulle 2 airport, you can securely deposit your baggage at the central lockers located at the CDGVAL station's exit, near the RER train station. This service is available 7 days a week, from 6:00 AM to 9:30 PM.
